Skills Preferred:

• Degree or Technical Diploma in Surveying, Electronics, Computing or similar field.
• Relevant experience in these disciplines; or substantive experience in Navigation & Positioning.
• Good oral and written English.
• Ability to work within deadlines & handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. Previous exposure to CAD and GIS packages is preferred.
• Particular consideration will be given to applicants with previous Navigation Data Processing or Marine Construction Survey Management experience.

NEW OPENING: Survey Manager

• Key Senior Management Position, Houston based
• Office based position, with as much as 20% time in the field plus global travel
• Strong knowledge of all surveying equipment and methods
• Very Strong QHSE role, leading by example & fostering a positive atmosphere
• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying, Geodesy, Math, or Science plus 7 years of recent, relevant experience in offshore surveying, with 4 or more years being at a Managerial level -OR-10 years recent, relevant experience in offshore surveying, with 4 or more years being at a Managerial level.

The Survey Manager is tasked with ensuring the integrity and competitiveness of the survey methods used by NCS SubSea. The position requires keeping a current working knowledge of modern offshore survey techniques, and identifying new techniques. The Survey Manager will lead in audit & review of current practices and procedures, and participate directly in their continued improvement. A secondary responsibility of the Survey Manager is to establish business relationships with both current and potential new clients.
